This blog started a few years back with no real intention behind it. I had planned to journal about my psychic gifts, my journey to happiness, and my spiritual awakening but that was it. To be honest I thought of it as space to just be myself and not have to worry about what anyone thought of me. I had no clue as to what I was doing and I didn’t think many people if any people would end up reading my posts.
In the back of my mind, however, I did hope that the right person would find it. I hoped that they would find comfort in knowing that they weren’t alone.
I had dealt with the feelings of being crazy and seeing things others couldn’t my entire life. I had to do it alone and this put me in a pretty dark spot for a pretty long time.
I had secretly hoped that by starting this blog it would help someone to know that they weren’t crazy. People needed to know that there were other people in the world just like them and that this “curse” was actually a blessing in disguise.
Luckily, it happened, someone subscribed to my blog. Only I quickly learned that not only did my blog find the right person but the right people. The site started growing and the readers wanted to interact with me one on one. I eventually had no choice but to start an actual website to support the traffic and my reader’s requests. Building an actual website was a crazy thought to me at first seeing as how I had no clue what I was doing. BLUEHOST made it a bit easier and helped me transfer everything in one smooth swoop! (If you’re thinking of starting a site and need all the tools that come along with, I use BLUEHOST and love them!)
Now, here I am. A few years later and this is my fulltime business, what a change of pace! This girl went from being scared of spirit, scared of who she was, and scared of sharing her real identity to being wide open about all things personal and spirit related.
Last week the site was voted #24 out of the top 100 psychic blogs on the internet. I am still in shock.
This journey has been an incredible one. Never did I EVER think that my blog would rank on a top anything list….let alone #24!
It all goes back to this article, living a life of purpose. When we focus on what feels good, good things happen. When we push ourselves to do better and to be better, everything looks better.
It is when we align with our true selves, that things start working for us. When we show everyone love and kindness each and every day, including ourselves, the universe hands us things we didn’t even know we wanted or needed.
